MADE FOR LOVE (HBO Max) - Cristin Milioti has booked a lead role on the half-hour series, based on the tragicomic novel of the same name by Alissa Nutting. She'll play Hazel Green, "a thirtysomething woman on the run after 10 years in a suffocating marriage to Byron Gogol, an unstable, needy, possibly sociopathic tech billionaire. Soon she discovers that her husband has implanted a revolutionary monitoring device - the Made for Love chip - in her brain, allowing him to track her, watch her and know her thoughts and feelings as she tries to stay alive." (Deadline.com)
NIGHTGOWNS (Quibi, New!) - "RuPaul's Drag Race" season nine winner Sasha Velour is set to topline a new eight-episode series at the short-form video service. Novak has scored a pilot order for a potential half-hour anthology series which "uses the boldest issues of our times as a jumping-off point to tell singular, character-driven stories about the world we live in today." Production is underway on the FX Productions-based project, with Lucas Hedges, Jon Bernthal, Kaitlyn Dever, Boyd Holbrook, O'Shea Jackson Jr., George Wallace and Ed Asner all slated to appear. Novak is writing and directing two installments: "one is said to be more dramatic, tackling a tough subject, and the other more comedic, with a small animation element." (Deadline.com)
PROJECT BLUE BOOK (History) - Jerod Haynes is set to recur on the show's sophomore run as Daniel Banks: "A high-ranking, charismatic CIA operative, Dr. Hynek (Aidan Gillen) and Captain Michael Quinn (Michael Malarkey) first encounter Agent Daniel Banks at the top-secret Area 51. Soon, Agent Banks becomes a powerful and unpredictable new asset for our duo's quest for the truth in a UFO conspiracy that is growing increasingly dangerous." (Deadline.com)

(Deadline.com)
ROCKET MEN (Epix, New!) - Robert Kurson's book - which "tells the true story of the Apollo 8 mission as a stark example of what America was capable of in a time of dramatic violence and discord" - is being developed as a six-part limited series by the network.
